因此你們要聽永恆主的計畫、聽他所設計以攻擊以東的；你們要聽永恆主的旨意、就是他所命定以攻擊提幔居民的。仇敵竟定要將他們民羣中蕞爾微小的也拉去；定要使他們的田莊因這些事而驚駭。

故爾宜聽耶和華所定攻以東之謀、擊提幔居民之志、其羣之小者、敵必曳之去、使其草場荒寂、

我耶和華已定厥志、欲攻以東、降罰提慢、即羊之小者、亦得而欺之、使其居處荒蕪。

今當聽主為以東所立之謀、為提幔所定之命、敵人必曳之如弱小之羊、使其居處、盡屬荒蕪、

Therefore, hear what the Lord has planned against Edom, what he has purposed against those who live in Teman: The young of the flock will be dragged away; their pasture will be appalled at their fate.

So listen to what the Lord has planned against the people of Edom. Hear what he has planned against those who live in Teman. Edom’s young people will be dragged away. Their grasslands will be shocked at their fate.

Therefore hear the plan that the Lord has made against Edom and the purposes that he has formed against the inhabitants of Teman: Even the little ones of the flock shall be dragged away. Surely their fold shall be appalled at their fate.

Listen to the Lord’s plans against Edom and the people of Teman. Even the little children will be dragged off like sheep, and their homes will be destroyed.

Therefore, hear the plans that the LORD has drawn up against Edom and the strategies he has devised against the people of Teman: The flock’s little lambs will certainly be dragged away, and their grazing land will be made desolate because of them.

Therefore hear the plan of the Lord which He has planned against Edom, and His purposes which He has in mind against the inhabitants of Teman: they will certainly drag them off, even the little ones of the flock; He will certainly make their pasture desolate because of them.

Therefore hear the counsel of the Lord that He has taken against Edom, And His purposes that He has proposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out; Surely He shall make their dwelling places desolate with them.

Therefore hear ye the counsel of Jehovah, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely they shall drag them away, even the little ones of the flock; surely he shall make their habitation desolate over them.

Therefore, hear the plans that the Lord has drawn up against Edom and the strategies He has devised against the people of Teman: The flock’s little lambs will certainly be dragged away, and their grazing land will be made desolate because of them.

Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he hath taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he hath purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.

So listen to what I, the LORD, have planned against Edom, what I intend to do to the people who live in Teman. Their little ones will be dragged off. I will completely destroy their land because of what they have done.

Therefore hear the counsel of Yahweh, that he has taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he has purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely they will drag them away, the little ones of the flock. Surely he will make their habitation desolate over them.

你們要聽耶和華攻擊巴比倫所定的計劃和他攻擊迦勒底人之地所定的旨意。他們羊羣當中微弱的定要被拖走，他們的草場定要變為荒涼。

惡以掃，使他的山嶺荒涼，把他的地業交給曠野的野狗。」以東若說：「我們雖被毀壞，卻要重建荒廢之處。」萬軍之耶和華如此說：「任他們建造，我必拆毀；人必稱他們為『邪惡之境』，為『耶和華永遠惱怒之民』。」

論以東。萬軍之耶和華如此說：提幔不再有智慧了嗎？聰明人的謀略都用盡了嗎？他們的智慧盡歸無有了嗎？

提瑪的商隊瞻望，示巴的旅客等候。他們因希望落空就抱愧，來到那裏便蒙羞。

我從起初就指明末後的事，從古時便言明未成的事，說：「我的籌算必立定；凡我所喜悅的，我必成就。」我召鷙鳥從東方來，召那成就我籌算的人從遠方來。我已說出，就必成就；我已謀定，也必做成。

耶和華的籌算永遠立定，他心中的計劃萬代長存。

他回答我說：「這是耶和華指示所羅巴伯的話。萬軍之耶和華說：不是倚靠勢力，不是倚靠才能，乃是倚靠我的靈方能成事。

以東必令人驚駭；凡經過的人都驚駭，又因它一切的災禍嗤笑。耶和華說：它要像所多瑪、蛾摩拉和鄰近的城鎮一樣傾覆，必無人住在那裏，也無人在其中寄居。

萬軍之耶和華起誓說：「我怎樣思想，必照樣成就；我怎樣定意，必照樣堅立，要在我的地上擊破亞述，在我的山上將它踐踏。它的軛必離開受壓制的人，它的重擔必離開他們的肩頭。」這是向全地所定的旨意，向萬國所伸出的手。萬軍之耶和華既然定意，誰能阻撓呢？他的手已經伸出，誰能使它縮回呢？

我們也在他裏面得了基業；這原是那位隨己意行萬事的神照着自己的旨意所預定的，

人心多有計謀；惟有耶和華的籌算才能成就。

我指着自己起誓，波斯拉必令人驚駭、受羞辱、被詛咒，並且全然荒廢。它所有的城鎮都要永遠成為廢墟。這是耶和華說的。」

做了你手和你旨意所預定必成就的事。

但是，神揀選了世上愚拙的，為了使有智慧的羞愧；又揀選了世上軟弱的，為了使強壯的羞愧。神也揀選了世上卑賤的，被人厭惡的，以及那一無所有的，為要廢掉那樣樣都有的，使凡血肉之軀的，在神面前，一個也不能自誇。

你們即使擊敗與你們爭戰的迦勒底全軍，他們當中剩下受傷的人也必各自從帳棚裏起來，用火焚燒這城。』」
