看啊，我必在瞬间把以东人赶离家园，如约旦河边丛林中跳出的狮子赶散草场的羊群。我要派我拣选的人统治这地方。谁能与我相比？谁能与我较量？哪位首领能抵挡我？”

看哪！狮子怎样从约旦河边的丛林走上来，攻击常绿的牧场，照样，我必在眨眼之间把以东赶走，使它离开这地；谁蒙拣选，我就派谁治理这地。谁能和我相比呢？谁可以把我传来审讯呢？哪一个牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？”

看哪！獅子怎樣從約旦河邊的叢林走上來，攻擊常綠的牧場，照樣，我必在眨眼之間把以東趕走，使它離開這地；誰蒙揀選，我就派誰治理這地。誰能和我相比呢？誰可以把我傳來審訊呢？哪一個牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？”

看吧，像獅子從約但河邊的叢林上來，攻擊歷久不壞的田莊；一眨眼之間我就要使以東人都跑走、離開這地了；誰蒙揀選，我就派誰治理這地。因為誰能比得上我呢？誰能定期傳我對訊呢？有哪一個牧民者能在我面前站立得住呢？

敵必若獅、自約但之叢林而出、攻其恆茂之草場、我必令其突然逃避、且立所選者治之、誰與我比擬、誰與我爭辯、牧者伊誰、立於我前、

孰能與我比儗、孰能與我辯論、孰能為民牧、侍於我側我遴選之、以目會意、彼則疾趨、攻擊斯邦、譬彼獅子、因約但之水漲溢、出自河濱、遊於牧地、青草芊綿。

敵必忽來、如獅自約但河濱之叢林而上、攻擊鞏固之所、轉瞬之間、我將以東人逐於其地、誰蒙簡選、則我命之以轄斯地、孰能與我比擬、孰能與我爭辯、有何牧人、能立於我前、

“ Like a lion coming up from Jordan’s thickets to a rich pastureland, I will chase Edom from its land in an instant. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? Who is like me and who can challenge me? And what shepherd can stand against me?”

“ I will be like a lion coming up from the bushes by the Jordan River. I will hunt in rich grasslands. I will chase you from your land in an instant. What nation will I choose to do this? Which one will I appoint? Is anyone like me? Who would dare to argue with me? What leader can stand against me?”

Behold, like a lion coming up from the jungle of the Jordan against a perennial pasture, I will suddenly make him run away from her. And I will appoint over her whomever I choose. For who is like me? Who will summon me? What shepherd can stand before me?

I will come like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan, leaping on the sheep in the pasture. I will chase Edom from its land, and I will appoint the leader of my choice. For who is like me, and who can challenge me? What ruler can oppose my will?”

“ Look, it will be like a lion coming from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered grazing land. I will chase Edom away from her land in a flash. I will appoint whoever is chosen for her. For who is like me? Who will issue me a summons? Who is the shepherd who can stand against me?”

Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thicket of the Jordan to a perennially watered pasture; for in an instant I will chase him away from it, and I will appoint over it whoever is chosen. For who is like Me, and who will summon Me into court? And who then is the shepherd who can stand against Me?”

“ Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the floodplain of the Jordan Against the dwelling place of the strong; But I will suddenly make him run away from her. And who is a chosen man that I may appoint over her? For who is like Me? Who will arraign Me? And who is that shepherd Who will withstand Me?”

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation: for I will suddenly make them run away from it; and whoso is chosen, him will I appoint over it: for who is like me? and who will appoint me a time? and who is the shepherd that will stand before me?

“ Look, it will be like a lion coming from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered grazing land. Indeed, I will chase Edom away from her land in a flash. I will appoint whoever is chosen for her. For who is like Me? Who will summon Me? Who is the shepherd who can stand against Me?”

Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who[ is] a chosen[ man, that] I may appoint over her? for who[ is] like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who[ is] that shepherd that will stand before me?

“ A lion coming up from the thick undergrowth along the Jordan scatters the sheep in the pastureland around it. So too I will chase the Edomites off their land. Then I will appoint over it whomever I choose. For there is no one like me, and there is no one who can call me to account. There is no ruler who can stand up against me.

“ Behold, he will come up like a lion from the pride of the Jordan against the strong habitation: for I will suddenly make them run away from it; and whoever is chosen, I will appoint him over it. For who is like me? Who will appoint me a time? Who is the shepherd who will stand before me?”

「你與步行的人同跑，尚且覺得累，怎能與馬賽跑呢？你在安全之地尚且會跌倒，在約旦河邊的叢林要怎麼辦呢？

他們的君王是他們自己的人，掌權的必出自他們。我要使他接近我，他也要親近我；不然，誰敢放膽親近我呢？這是耶和華說的。

「看哪，就像獅子從約旦河邊的叢林上來，攻擊堅固的居所，我要在轉眼之間使迦勒底人逃跑，離開這地。我揀選誰，就派誰治理這地。誰能像我呢？誰能召我出庭呢？有哪一個牧人能在我面前站得住呢？你們要聽耶和華攻擊巴比倫所定的計劃和他攻擊迦勒底人之地所定的旨意。他們羊羣當中微弱的定要被拖走，他們的草場定要變為荒涼。因巴比倫被攻下的聲音，地就震動，人在列國都聽見呼喊的聲音。」

沒有那麼兇猛的人敢惹牠。這樣，誰能在我面前站立得住呢？

「耶和華啊，眾神明中，誰能像你？誰能像你，至聖至榮，可頌可畏，施行奇事！

若論力量，看哪，他真有能力！若論審判，『誰能傳我呢？』

有獅子從密林中上來，是毀壞列國的。牠已動身出離本處，要使你的地荒涼，使你的城鎮變為廢墟，無人居住。

那時正是收割的日子，約旦河的水漲滿兩岸。抬約櫃的人到了約旦河，抬約櫃的祭司腳一入水邊，

正月，約旦河水漲過兩岸的時候，他們過河，使所有住河谷的人東奔西逃。

你，惟獨你是可畏的！你的怒氣一發，誰能在你面前站得住呢？

我雖完全，不顧自己；我厭棄我的性命。

「強辯的豈可與全能者爭論？與神辯駁的可以回答吧！」於是，約伯回答耶和華說：「看哪，我是卑賤的！我用甚麼回答你呢？我只好用手摀住我的口。我說了一次，就不回答；說了兩次，不再說了。」於是，耶和華從旋風中回答約伯說：「你要如勇士束腰；我問你，你可以讓我知道。你豈可廢棄我的判斷？豈可定我有罪，好顯自己為義嗎？

因為他們遭憤怒的大日子到了，誰能站得住呢？」

誰無知使你的旨意隱藏呢？因此我說的，我不明白；這些事太奇妙，是我不知道的。求你聽我，我要說話；我問你，求你讓我知道。我從前風聞有你，現在親眼看見你。

誰像耶和華－我們的神呢？他坐在至高之處，自己謙卑，觀看天上地下的事。

因在天空誰能比耶和華呢？諸神之中，誰能像耶和華呢？

他發憤恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的憤怒如火傾洩而出，磐石因他崩裂。

惟願我知道哪裏可以尋見神，能到他的臺前，我就在他面前陳明我的案件，滿口辯訴。我必知道他回答我的言語，明白他向我所要說的。他豈用大能與我爭辯呢？不！他必理會我。在那裏正直人可以與他辯論，我就必永遠脫離那審判我的。

求你不要審問僕人，因為在你面前，凡活着的人沒有一個是義的。

那聖者說：「你們將誰與我相比，與我相等呢？」

耶和華－萬軍之神啊，哪一個大能者像耶和華？你的信實在你四圍。

聽啊，有牧人在哀號，因他們的榮華敗落了；聽啊，有少壯獅子咆哮，因約旦河旁的叢林荒廢了。
