Now this is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in Him.If we say,“ We have fellowship with Him,” yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth.But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the Dawn from on high will visit usto shine on those who live in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

for what makes everything clear is light. Therefore it is said: Get up, sleeper, and rise up from the dead, and the Messiah will shine on you.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.

Jesus answered,“ The light will be with you only a little longer. Walk while you have the light so that darkness doesn’t overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.

The people who live in darkness have seen a great light, and for those living in the shadowland of death, light has dawned.

a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to Your people Israel.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

“ I, Yahweh, have called You for a righteous purpose, and I will hold You by Your hand. I will keep You and appoint You to be a covenant for the people and a light to the nations,in order to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those sitting in darkness from the prison house.

When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light.The true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

that the Messiah must suffer, and that as the first to rise from the dead, He would proclaim light to our people and to the Gentiles.”

“ I, Jesus, have sent My angel to attest these things to you for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright Morning Star.”

I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on paths they have not known. I will turn darkness to light in front of them and rough places into level ground. This is what I will do for them, and I will not forsake them.

So it is written: The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving Spirit.

And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield. The Lord gives grace and glory; He does not withhold the good from those who live with integrity.

Then he showed me the river of living water, sparkling like crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.

Say to the cowardly:“ Be strong; do not fear! Here is your God; vengeance is coming. God’s retribution is coming; He will save you.”Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped.

God, You have rejected us; You have broken out against us; You have been angry. Restore us!You have shaken the land and split it open. Heal its fissures, for it shudders.You have made Your people suffer hardship; You have given us wine to drink that made us stagger.

They trust in their wealth and boast of their abundant riches.
