And who has the arm of the Lord been revealed to?This is why they were unable to believe, because Isaiah also said:He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and be converted, and I would heal them.

The wicked are those who rebel against the light. They do not recognize its ways or stay on its paths.The murderer rises at dawn to kill the poor and needy, and by night he becomes a thief.The adulterer’s eye watches for twilight, thinking: No eye will see me; he covers his face.In the dark they break into houses; by day they lock themselves in, never experiencing the light.For the morning is like darkness to them. Surely they are familiar with the terrors of darkness!

But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.

And because they did not think it worthwhile to acknowledge God, God delivered them over to a worthless mind to do what is morally wrong.

He was in the world, and the world was created through Him, yet the world did not recognize Him.

“ How long, foolish ones, will you love ignorance? How long will you mockers enjoy mocking and you fools hate knowledge?

Because they hated knowledge, didn’t choose to fear the Lord,were not interested in my counsel, and rejected all my correction,
