我豈不曰、強爾志、壯爾心、切勿恐懼、不論所往、爾上帝耶和華佑爾。○

我豈不命爾強爾心、壯爾志乎、勿驚惶、勿畏懼、爾無論何往、主爾之天主必祐爾、○

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

耶和華卻說：「不要說你太年輕，我派你去誰那裡，你就去誰那裡；我吩咐你說什麼，你就說什麼。誰也不要怕，因為我與你同在，我必拯救你。這是耶和華說的。」

你要剛強勇敢，因為你要帶領這些人佔領我起誓賜給他們祖先的土地。你只要剛強勇敢，謹遵我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，毫不偏離，就可以無往不利。

耶和華是我的光，我的拯救，我還怕誰？耶和華是我的堡壘，我還怕誰？當惡人來吞吃我，仇敵來攻擊我時，必失足跌倒。

「你們和敵人交戰時，面對比你們強大的軍隊及戰車戰馬，不要害怕，因為你們的上帝耶和華與你們同在，祂曾帶領你們離開埃及。

摩西把約書亞叫來，當著全體以色列人的面對他說：「你要剛強勇敢！因為你要帶領百姓進入耶和華起誓賜給他們祖先的土地，把土地分給他們。耶和華必帶領你，與你同在。祂不會撇下你，也不會離棄你。不要害怕，也不要沮喪。」

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的上帝是我們的堡壘。（細拉）

雅各啊，以色列啊，創造你、使你成形的耶和華說：「不要害怕，我已經救贖了你；我點名呼召了你，你屬於我。

不要害怕，因為我與你同在，我必從東方、從西方召集你和你的兒女。

耶和華轉向他，說：「你盡自己的力量去從米甸人手中拯救以色列人吧，我現在派你去。」

押沙龍吩咐僕人說：「你們要留意，當暗嫩喝得正高興的時候，我叫你們殺他，你們就要動手。不要畏縮，要剛強勇敢！因為這是我的命令。」

但彼得和約翰答道：「要我們聽從你們而不聽從上帝，這在上帝看來合理嗎？你們自己想想吧。

把你們各支派的長老和首領招聚來，我要把這些話告訴他們，叫天地作證來指控他們。
