二人對羅得說：『你這裏還有甚麼人沒有？無論是女婿、是兒女，或是這城裏所有屬你的人，你都要從這地方帶出去。我們要毁滅這地方，因為在永恆主面前那攻擊他們的喧嚷聲很大；永恆主差遣了我們來毁滅它。』羅得就出來，告訴那將要娶他女兒的女婿們說：『你們起來，逃出這地；因為永恆主要毁滅這城。』但他卻被女婿們看為戲說笑話的。天快亮時候，天使催逼羅得說：『起來，帶着你的妻子、和你身邊的兩個女兒出去，免得你在這城的罪罰中被掃滅。』羅得還在猶豫躭延，二人因為永恆主憐惜羅得，就拉着羅得的手、和他妻子的手、跟他兩個女兒的手，把他們領出來，安置在城外。即領了他們出來，一位就說：『逃命吧！不可回頭看望，在這一片平原上、哪裏都不可站住！只要往山上逃跑！免得你被掃滅。』

永恆主對挪亞說：『你和你的全家都要進樓船，因為在這世代我看只有你在我面前是個義人。

女人說：『照你們的話就這樣吧。』於是把他們打發走；他們便去；她就把朱紅線繩子繫在窗戶上。

現在求你們指着永恆主向我起誓：我既恩待你們，你們也要恩待我父的家，並給我一個可靠的信號，來救活我的父親、母親、我的弟兄姐妹、以及一切屬於他們的，而援救我們的性命不致死亡。』

就和他交談着進去，見有許多一同聚會的人，

當時各條誡命既由摩西按照律法向眾民宣講了，他就拿牛犢山羊的血，用水和朱紅絨跟牛膝草、灑在那書卷上，並且灑在眾民身上，

他們要把朱紅色的布鋪在上面，再蓋上塔哈示皮的遮蓋物，然後把杠穿上。

耶穌對他說：『今天拯救臨到這一家了；他也是亞伯拉罕的子孫哪；

願主賜憐憫給阿尼色弗一家的人！因為他屢次使我蘇爽，又不以我的鎖鍊為恥。

他必將話語對你說；你就可以因這些話語而得救，你和你全家。」

因為我怎忍得見我本族之民受害呢？我怎忍得見我的親族被滅盡呢？』

我登時就打發人去找你；你來到了很好！如今我們都在上帝面前，要聽主所吩咐你的一切話。』

祭司要把香柏木、脣形薄荷、朱紅色線、丟在燒牛的火中。

『我必使你成為大國；我必給你祝福，使你的名尊大；成為祝福的口頭語：

那麼、祭司就要吩咐人為那求斷為潔淨的取兩隻活活而潔淨的鳥、和香柏木、朱紅色線跟脣形薄荷。
