其余没有被这些灾害所杀的人仍不肯悔改、停止手中的恶行，还是去拜魔鬼和那些用金、银、铜、石、木所造，不能看、不能听、不能行走的偶像。

拿着七碗的七位天使中有一位前来对我说：“你过来！我要让你看那坐在众水之上的大淫妇将要遭受的刑罚。地上的君王与她行淫，地上其他人也因喝了她淫乱的酒而酩酊大醉。”那时，我被圣灵感动，被天使带到旷野，在那里见到一个妇人骑着一只朱红色的怪兽。怪兽有七头十角，浑身写满亵渎上帝的名号。那妇人身穿紫色和朱红色的袍子，用黄金、宝石及珍珠装扮自己。她手中拿着金杯，里面盛满了她淫乱的污秽、可憎之物。在她额上还写了一个神秘的名号：“大巴比伦——地上淫妇及可憎事物之母”。

那时，你们随从今世的风俗，顺服在空中掌权的魔鬼，就是如今在一切叛逆上帝之人心中运行的邪灵。

现在是这世界受审判的时候，世界的王要被赶出去了。

那些不信的人是被这世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不见基督荣耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。

我不再跟你们多谈，因为世界的王快要来了。他根本没有力量胜过我，

耶和华说：“如果丈夫休掉妻子，妻子离去另嫁别人，前夫怎会再娶她呢？那样做岂不完全玷污了土地吗？你曾与许多情人苟合，现在要归向我吗？

她没有放弃在埃及的淫荡行为，她年轻的时候就任人玩弄、发泄情欲。
