We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.

not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.

The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him.And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him.But we see him who for a little while was made lower than the angels, namely Jesus, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the founder of their salvation perfect through suffering.

who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, with angels, authorities, and powers having been subjected to him.

that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.

For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.The last enemy to be destroyed is death.For“ God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says,“ all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him.
