那裏有個一隻手萎縮了的人。有人為了要控告耶穌，就問他：「安息日治病合不合法？」

見有枯一手者、或問曰、安息日施醫、宜乎、意欲訟之、

堂內有枯一手者、或問之曰、安息日施醫可否、意欲得故以罪之、

適有枯一手者在焉。或試耶穌曰：『禮日可治病乎？』將欲假端以攻之。

and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”

A man with a weak and twisted hand was there. The Pharisees were trying to accuse Jesus of a crime. So they asked him,“ Does the Law allow us to heal on the Sabbath day?”

And a man was there with a withered hand. And they asked him,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”— so that they might accuse him.

where he noticed a man with a deformed hand. The Pharisees asked Jesus,“ Does the law permit a person to work by healing on the Sabbath?”( They were hoping he would say yes, so they could bring charges against him.)

There he saw a man who had a shriveled hand, and in order to accuse him they asked him,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”

And a man was there whose hand was withered. And they questioned Jesus, asking,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”— so that they might bring charges against Him.

And behold, there was a man who had a withered hand. And they asked Him, saying,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”— that they might accuse Him.

and behold, a man having a withered hand. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? that they might accuse him.

There He saw a man who had a paralyzed hand. And in order to accuse Him they asked Him,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?”

And, behold, there was a man which had[ his] hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

A man was there who had a withered hand. And they asked Jesus,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” so that they could accuse him.

And behold there was a man with a withered hand. They asked him,“ Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath day?” that they might accuse him.

會堂的主管因為耶穌在安息日治病，就很生氣，對眾人說：「有六天應當做工，那六天之內可以來求醫，在安息日卻不可。」

於是法利賽人中有的說：「這個人不是從神來的，因為他不守安息日。」另有的說：「一個罪人怎能行這樣的神蹟呢？」他們之間就產生了分裂。

請告訴我們，你的意見如何？納稅給凱撒合不合法？」耶穌看出他們的惡意，就說：「假冒為善的人哪，為甚麼試探我？

所以猶太人對那被治好了的人說：「今天是安息日，你拿褥子是不合法的。」

他們說這話是要試探耶穌，要抓到控告他的把柄。耶穌卻彎下腰，用指頭在地上寫字。

伺機要抓他的話柄。

禍哉！無用的牧人丟棄羊羣，刀必臨到他的膀臂和右眼上；他的膀臂必全然枯乾，他的右眼也必昏暗失明。」

耶羅波安王聽見神人向伯特利的壇呼叫的話，就從壇上伸手，說：「拿住他！」王向神人所伸的手卻萎縮了，不能彎回。壇也破裂了，壇上的灰傾倒出來，正如神人遵照耶和華的話所設的預兆。王對神人說：「請你為我禱告，向耶和華－你的神懇求恩惠，使我的手復原。」於是神人向耶和華懇求，王的手就復原了，如平常一樣。

法利賽人看見，對耶穌說：「看哪，你的門徒在安息日做不合法的事了。」

他們開始控告他說：「我們見這人煽惑我們的國民，禁止我們納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。」

無人按公義控訴，也無人憑誠實辯白；卻倚靠虛妄，口說謊言，懷毒害，生罪孽。

又有一個安息日，耶穌進了會堂教導人，在那裏有一個人，他的右手萎縮了。文士和法利賽人窺探耶穌會不會在安息日治病，為要找把柄告他。

裏面躺着許多病人，有失明的、瘸腿的、癱瘓的。

就是悖逆，否認耶和華，轉去不跟從我們的神，口說欺壓和叛逆的話，心懷謊言，隨即說出；

我們納稅給凱撒合不合法？」

對他們說：「你們解這人到我這裏，說他是煽惑百姓的。看哪，我也曾在你們面前審問他，並沒有查出這人犯過你們控告他的任何罪；

耶穌回答律法師和法利賽人，說：「安息日治病合不合法？」他們卻不說話。耶穌扶着那人，治好了他，叫他走了。耶穌對他們說：「你們中間誰有兒子或有牛在安息日掉在井裏，不立刻拉他上來呢？」他們對這些事不能反駁。

因為愚頑人必說愚妄的話，他的心作惡，行褻瀆的事，傳播惡言攻擊耶和華，使飢餓的人仍然飢餓，口渴的人無水可喝。

有些法利賽人來試探耶穌說：「無論甚麼緣故，人休妻都合法嗎？」
