比下山耶穌諭曰：『人子未復活前、勿以所見告人。』

As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them,“ Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”

耶穌戒勿語人。

行至葛法農、有稅胥至、問伯鐸祿曰：『汝師不輸稅乎？』

下山時、耶穌戒其徒、於人子未復活前、勿以所見語人。徒謹守此語、惟互詰復活何意。嗣問耶穌曰：『經生謂伊理靄必需先臨何也？』答曰：『伊理靄固需先來振興萬事、然經不亦言人子應如何備嘗苦辱乎？然予語汝、伊理靄實已蒞至、而世人任意待之、適如經之所載也。』

耶穌嚴戒諸徒、勿以告人；且曰人子尚須備嘗苦難、為長老司祭經生所棄、終且被害、第三目復活。

第予語爾、依理藹實已蒞臨、而人莫之識、且任意處之。人子之將罹橫逆、亦復如是。』

父母驚喜欲狂、耶穌諭曰：『不足為外人道也。』

耶穌對曰：『狐有丘、鳥有巢、人子獨無枕首地。』

復曰：『依諸經所載、基督固當受難、第三日自死者中復活、俾痛悔赦罪之道、得藉其名而傳於世、始自耶路撒冷以達萬邦。

耶穌謂之曰：『慎毋告人、第往自陳於司祭、獻摩西定儀、為若輩證。』

乃嚴戒諸徒、勿宣其為基督。自是耶穌始預示其徒、彼須往耶路撒冷、將陷於長老、經生、司祭之手、備受凌辱、乃至被殺；第三日復活。

受唾被撻、乃至受死、惟第三日復活。』門徒弗悟、蓋當時厥心、猶有所蒙故但聞其言、而不識其蘊也。
