“ Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered,“ this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”

“ What I’m about to tell you is true,” Jesus answered.“ It will happen tonight. Before the rooster crows, you will say three times that you don’t know me.”

Jesus said to him,“ Truly, I tell you, this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”

Jesus replied,“ I tell you the truth, Peter— this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny three times that you even know me.”

“ Truly I tell you,” Jesus said to him,“ tonight, before the rooster crows, you will deny me three times.”

Jesus said to him,“ Assuredly, I say to you that this night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”

Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

“ I assure you,” Jesus said to him,“ tonight, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times!”

But He said,“ I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you have denied three times that you know Me.”

And Peter remembered the statement that Jesus had made:“ Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” And he went out and wept bitterly.

And Jesus* said to him,“ Truly I say to you, that this very night, before a rooster crows twice, you yourself will deny Me three times.”But Peter repeatedly said insistently,“ Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And they all were saying the same thing as well.
