“你们不要为自己在地上积蓄财宝，地上有虫蛀，会锈蚀，也有盗贼钻进来偷窃；

「不要為自己積攢財寶在地上；地上有蟲子咬，能銹壞，也有賊挖窟窿來偷。

「不要為自己在地上積蓄財寶；地上有蟲子咬，能銹壞，也有賊挖洞來偷。

「不要為自己在世上積攢財寶，世上有蟲子咬，會生銹，又有賊闖進來偷。

“不可為自己在地上積聚財寶，因為地上有蟲蛀，有鏽侵蝕，也有賊挖洞來偷。

『別為自己積儹財寶在地上了；地上有蟲子和鏽能弄壞，地上有賊能挖窟窿來偷。

「你們不要為自己在地上積蓄財寶，地上有蟲蛀，會鏽蝕，也有盜賊鑽進來偷竊；

勿積財於地、其處蠹蝕銹壞、盜穴而竊之、

勿積財於地蠹食銹壞、盜穴而竊之處、

勿積財於地、彼有蠹蝕朽壞、有盜穿窬而竊、

爾毋儲富於地；蠹蝕焉、銹敗焉、竊者穿窬而盜焉。

“ Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal:

“ Don’t collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

“ Do not accumulate for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

“ Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal;

不可貪愛錢財，要以自己所有的為滿足，因為神曾說：「我絕不撇下你，也絕不丟棄你。」

凡為自己積財，在神面前卻不富足的，也是這樣。」

注意！你們這些富足人哪，要為將要臨到你們身上的災難哭泣、號咷。你們的財物腐爛了，你們的衣服被蟲子蛀了。你們的金銀都生銹了；這銹要證明你們的不是，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們在這末世只知道積蓄錢財。

不要勞碌求富，要有聰明來節制。你定睛在財富，它就消失，因為它必長翅膀，如鷹向天飛去。

只要有衣有食，我們就該知足。但那些想要發財的人就陷在誘惑、羅網和許多無知有害的慾望中，使人沉淪，以致敗壞和滅亡。貪財是萬惡之根。有人因貪戀錢財而背離信仰，用許多愁苦把自己刺透了。

至於那些今世富足的人，你要囑咐他們不要自高，也不要倚賴靠不住的錢財；要倚靠那厚賜萬物給我們享受的神。

耶穌聽見了，就對他說：「你還缺少一件：要變賣你一切所有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；你還要來跟從我。」

得智慧勝過得金子，選聰明強如選銀子。

你們要變賣財產賙濟人，為自己預備永不壞的錢囊和用不盡的財寶在天上，就是賊不能近，蟲不能蛀的地方。

當耶和華發怒的日子，他們的金銀不能救自己；耶和華妒忌的火必燒滅全地，要向地上所有的居民施行可怕的毀滅。

喜愛銀子的，不因得銀子滿足；喜愛財富的，也不因得利益知足。這也是虛空。貨物增添，吃的人也增添，物主得甚麼益處呢？不過眼看而已！勞碌的人不拘吃多吃少，睡得香甜；富人的豐足卻不容他睡覺。我見日光之下有一件令人憂傷的禍患，就是財主積存財富，反害自己。他因遭遇不幸，財產盡失；他生了兒子，手裏卻一無所有。

遭怒的日子錢財無益；惟有公義能救人脫離死亡。

耶穌見他變得很憂愁，就說：「有錢財的人進神的國是何等的難哪！

不要仗勢欺人，也不要因搶奪而驕傲；若財寶加增，不要放在心上。

世人行動實係幻影，他們忙亂，真是枉然，積蓄財寶，不知將來有誰收取。

耶穌說：「你若願意作完全人，去變賣你所擁有的，分給窮人，就必有財寶在天上；然後來跟從我。」

「我若以黃金為我的指望，對純金說：你是我的倚靠；

神喜愛誰，就給誰智慧、知識和喜樂；惟有罪人，神使他勞苦，將他所儲藏、所堆積的歸給神所喜愛的人。這也是虛空，也是捕風。
