他们喊着说：“神的儿子，你为什么干扰我们？时候还没有到，你就上这里来叫我们受苦吗？”

当时，会堂里有一个污灵附身的人，他在喊叫，说：“拿撒勒人耶稣，你为什么干扰我们？你来消灭我们吗？我知道你是谁，你是神的圣者。”

那试探者进前来对他说：“你若是神的儿子，叫这些石头变成食物吧。”

又有鬼从好些人身上出来，喊着说：“你是神的儿子！”耶稣斥责他们，不许他们说话，因为他们知道他是基督。

他看见耶稣，就喊叫着俯伏在他面前，大声说：“至高神的儿子耶稣，你为什么干扰我？我求你，不要叫我受苦！”

她跟随保罗和我们，喊着说：“这些人是至高神的仆人，对你们传讲救人的道路。”

你信神只有一位，你信得很好；连鬼魔也信，且怕得发抖。

鬼就央求耶稣，说：“若要把我们赶出去，就打发我们进入猪群吧！”

对他说：“你若是神的儿子，就跳下去！因为经上记着：‘主要为你命令他的使者，用手托住你，免得你的脚碰在石头上。’”

那时，有几个巡回各处念咒赶鬼的犹太人，擅自利用主耶稣的名，向那些被邪灵所附的人说：“我奉保罗所传的耶稣命令你们出来！”做这事的是犹太祭司长士基瓦的七个儿子。但邪灵回答他们：“耶稣我知道，保罗我也认识，你们却是谁呢？”被邪灵所附的人就扑到他们身上，制伏他们，胜过他们，使他们赤着身子，受了伤，从那房子里逃出去了。凡住在以弗所的，无论是犹太人是希腊人，都知道这件事，也都惧怕；主耶稣的名从此就更被尊为大了。

他昼夜常在坟墓里和山中喊叫，又用石头打自己。他远远看见耶稣，就跑过来拜他，

在船上的人都拜他，说：“你真是神的儿子。”

神的儿子，耶稣基督福音的起头。
