那時，地見神的面而震動，天也落雨；西奈山見以色列神的面也震動。

他的閃電光照世界，大地看見便震動。諸山見耶和華的面，就是全地之主的面，便消化如蠟。

願你裂天而降；願山在你面前震動－好像火燒乾柴，又像火將水燒開，使你敵人知道你的名，使列國在你面前發顫！

山見耶和華的面就震動，西奈山見耶和華－以色列神的面也是如此。

但現在的天地還是憑着那命存留，直留到不敬虔之人受審判遭沉淪的日子，用火焚燒。親愛的弟兄啊，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主所應許的尚未成就，有人以為他是躭延，其實不是躭延，乃是寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改。但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。這一切既然都要如此銷化，你們為人該當怎樣聖潔，怎樣敬虔，切切仰望神的日子來到。在那日，天被火燒就銷化了，有形質的都要被烈火鎔化。

忽然，地大震動；因為有主的使者從天上下來，把石頭滾開，坐在上面。

大山踴躍，如公羊；小山跳舞，如羊羔。

外邦喧嚷，列國動搖；神發聲，地便鎔化。

我又看見一個白色的大寶座與坐在上面的；從他面前天地都逃避，再無可見之處了。

耶和華的聲音震破香柏樹；耶和華震碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他也使之跳躍如牛犢，使黎巴嫩和西連跳躍如野牛犢。

必有萬軍耶和華降罰的一個日子，要臨到驕傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降為卑；又臨到黎巴嫩高大的香柏樹和巴珊的橡樹；又臨到一切高山的峻嶺；

願海和其中所充滿的澎湃；世界和住在其間的也要發聲。

忽然，殿裏的幔子從上到下裂為兩半，地也震動，磐石也崩裂，

西奈全山冒煙，因為耶和華在火中降於山上。山的煙氣上騰，如燒窰一般，遍山大大地震動。

大山哪，你為何踴躍，如公羊？小山哪，你為何跳舞，如羊羔？
