你們要預備大小盾牌，往前上陣，套上車，騎上馬！頂盔站立，磨槍披甲！

當在列國中宣告：預備打仗，激發勇士，使所有戰士上前來。要將犁頭打成刀劍，鐮刀打成戈矛；弱者要說：「我是勇士。」四圍的列國啊，你們要速速前來，一同聚集。耶和華啊，求你使你的勇士降臨。

馬匹啊，上去吧！戰車啊，要疾行！手拿盾牌的古實和弗的勇士，擅長拉弓的路德人，前進吧！」

你們看見大衛城缺口很多，就匯集下池的水；你們數點耶路撒冷的房屋，拆毀房屋，用以修補城牆，又在兩道城牆中間挖水池，用以盛舊池的水，卻不仰望成就這事的主，也不顧念從古時定這事的主。

萬民哪，任憑你們行惡，終必毀滅；遠方的眾人哪，當側耳而聽！任憑你們束腰，終必毀滅；你們束起腰來，終必毀滅。

我已經挖井喝水；我必用腳掌踏乾埃及一切的河流。

希西家說：耶和華－我們的神必救我們脫離亞述王的手，這不是誘惑你們，使你們受飢渴而死嗎？
