就在那裏、火就要燒滅你了，刀劍就要剪滅你，吞滅你、像蝻子吞喫五穀。任你增多如蝻子吧！任你增多如蝗蟲吧！

任爾多若蝻蝗、眾若蟿螽、在彼火將焚爾、刃將滅爾、如為蝻蝗所吞、

爾在邑中、雖眾於蝗、不可勝數、亦必遘災、有若蠶食、為火所焚、為刃所戮、

爾在彼火必燬爾、刃必戮爾、盡絕爾、若蝗盡食一切、任爾集軍眾若蝗、多若蚱蜢、亦屬徒然、

There the fire will consume you; the sword will cut you down— they will devour you like a swarm of locusts. Multiply like grasshoppers, multiply like locusts!

In spite of all your hard work, fire will burn you up inside your city. Your enemies will cut you down with their swords. They will destroy you just as a swarm of locusts eats up crops. Multiply like grasshoppers! Increase your numbers like locusts!

There will the fire devour you; the sword will cut you off. It will devour you like the locust. Multiply yourselves like the locust; multiply like the grasshopper!

But the fire will devour you; the sword will cut you down. The enemy will consume you like locusts, devouring everything they see. There will be no escape, even if you multiply like swarming locusts.

The fire will devour you there; the sword will cut you down. It will devour you like the young locust. Multiply yourselves like the young locust; multiply like the swarming locust!

There fire will consume you, The sword will cut you down; It will consume you as the creeping locust consumes a crop. Multiply yourself like the creeping locust, Multiply yourself like the migratory locust.

There the fire will devour you, The sword will cut you off; It will eat you up like a locust. Make yourself many— like the locust! Make yourself many— like the swarming locusts!

There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off; it shall devour thee like the canker- worm: make thyself many as the canker- worm; make thyself many as the locust.

The fire will devour you there; the sword will cut you down. It will devour you like the young locust. Multiply yourselves like the young locust, multiply like the swarming locust!

剪蟲吃剩的，蝗蟲來吃；蝗蟲吃剩的，蝻子來吃；蝻子吃剩的，螞蚱來吃。

看哪，我與你為敵，將它的戰車焚燒成煙，刀劍必吞滅你的少壯獅子；我必從地上除滅你的獵物，你使者的聲音必不再聽見。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。

看哪，你中間的士兵是婦女，你國中的關口向仇敵敞開，你的門閂被火焚燒。

耶和華要伸手攻擊北方，毀滅亞述，使尼尼微荒涼，乾旱如同曠野。

摩西就向埃及地伸杖；整整一晝一夜，耶和華使東風颳在埃及地上，到了早晨，東風把蝗蟲颳了來。蝗蟲上到埃及全地，落在埃及全境，非常厲害；蝗蟲這麼多，是空前絕後的。蝗蟲遮滿地面，地上一片黑暗。牠們吃盡了地上一切的植物和冰雹過後所剩樹上的果子。埃及全地，無論是樹木，是田間的植物，連一點綠的也沒有留下。

我差遣到你們中間的大軍隊，就是蝗蟲、蝻子、螞蚱、剪蟲，那些年間所吃的，我要補還給你們。
