不要只在人的眼前这样做，像仅是讨人的喜欢，而是作基督的仆人，从心里遵行神的旨意，

耶和华—我们列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神啊，求你使你的百姓心中常存这样的心思意念，坚定他们的心归向你，

耶和华啊，我一心呼求你，求你应允我！我必谨守你的律例。

愿我的心在你的律例上完全，使我不致蒙羞。

因这些人全心乐意献给耶和华，百姓就欢喜，大卫王也大大欢喜。

我儿啊，要将你的心归我，你的眼目也要喜爱我的道路。

你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华—你的神。

亚玛谢行耶和华眼中看为正的事，只是没有纯正的心。

他到了那里，看见神所赐的恩就欢喜，劝勉众人要立定心志，恒久靠主。

‘凡从埃及上来二十岁以上的人，断不得看见我对亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，因为他们没有专心跟从我；惟有基尼洗族耶孚尼的儿子迦勒，还有嫩的儿子约书亚可以看见，因为他们专心跟从耶和华。’

迦勒在摩西面前安抚百姓，说：“我们立刻上去得那地吧！我们必能征服它。”

你们无论做什么，都要从心里做，像是为主做的，不是为人做的；
