我情願受義人出於愛心的責打，他們的責打是良藥，我不會逃避。我要不斷地用禱告抵擋惡人的行徑。

惟任義人擊我、我以為慈、任其責我、如膏膏首、勿容我首卻之、而我仍以祈禱、禦惡人之邪僻兮、

義者責我、我以為仁慈、視若香膏、屢膏余首、無不悅懌、余有所祈、勿為惡者株連兮。

憑善人責我、我以為恩惠、懲治我、我以為沐首之膏、再三責我、我首決然不避、彼遭患難、我便祈禱、

寧受賢人責。苦口是良藥。莫受惡人諛。蜜中含辛螫。任憑彼作惡。吾禱終不輟。

Let a righteous man strike me— that is a kindness; let him rebuke me— that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.

If a godly person hit me, it would be an act of kindness. If they would correct me, it would be like pouring olive oil on my head. I wouldn’t say no to it. I will always pray against the things that sinful people do.

Let a righteous man strike me— it is a kindness; let him rebuke me— it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.

Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.

聽智者的責備，勝過聽愚人的頌歌。

弟兄姊妹，如果有人不慎犯了罪，你們順從聖靈的人就應該溫柔地挽回他，同時也要小心，免得自己也受誘惑。

對受教者而言，智者的責備猶如金耳環和金飾物。

因為誡命是燈，訓言是光，管教責備是生命之道，

後來，彼得到了安提阿，因他做錯了事，我就當面責備他。從雅各那裡來的人還沒有抵達之前，彼得和外族的信徒一起吃飯。但那些人抵達以後，彼得因為怕那些堅持行割禮的猶太人批評，就與外族的信徒分開了。其他的猶太基督徒也跟著彼得裝假，甚至連巴拿巴也隨從了他們的虛偽。我看見他們不照福音的真理行，就當眾對彼得說：「你身為猶太人，如果行事為人像外族人，不像猶太人，又怎能強迫外族人按猶太人的規矩生活呢？」

責打嘲諷者，愚人學會謹慎；責備明哲人，他會增長見識。

獨斷專行，計劃失敗；集思廣益，事無不成。

先知的話還沒有說完，王就打斷他，說：「住口！誰立你做王的謀士了？你要自取滅亡嗎？」先知停了一下，又說：「我知道上帝已定意要毀滅你，因為你做了這事，不聽我的忠告。」

開誠佈公的責備勝過隱藏的愛。朋友加的創傷出自真誠，仇敵連連親吻卻是多餘。

但我告訴你們，要愛仇敵，為迫害你們的人禱告。

愚人蔑視父親的管教，接受責備的才算明智。

不要責備嘲諷者，免得他恨你；要責備智者，他必愛你。教導智者，他就更有智慧；指教義人，他就更有見識。

凡我所愛的，我都會責備、管教。因此，你要熱心起來，也要悔改。

在我敵人面前你為我擺設宴席，又用膏油澆我的頭，使我恩福滿溢。

求你恩待錫安，重建耶路撒冷的城牆。

那時，哈拿尼先見晉見猶大王亞撒說：「因為你不倚靠你的上帝耶和華，反而倚靠亞蘭王，所以亞蘭王的軍隊已經從你手中逃脫。古實人與路比人不是一支強大的軍隊嗎？他們的戰車騎兵不是極多嗎？然而，因為你倚靠耶和華，耶和華就把他們交在你手中。耶和華的眼目遍察天下，彰顯大能來扶助那些全心歸向祂的人。你做了愚蠢的事！從此以後，你必遭遇戰禍。」亞撒聽了就對先見發怒，把他囚禁在監獄裡，同時又壓迫一些民眾。

耶和華啊，求你善待行善的人，善待心地正直的人。

生病的人應該請教會的長老來，奉主的名用油抹他的身體並為他禱告。出於信心的禱告必能使病人痊癒，主必使他康復。倘若他犯了罪，也必得到赦免。所以你們要彼此認罪，互相代禱，好得到醫治。義人的禱告有極大的力量和功效。

拿單對大衛說：「那人就是你！以色列的上帝耶和華這樣說，『我膏立你做以色列的王，從掃羅手中救你，將你主人的家業和妻妾交給你，把以色列和猶大的國權賜給你。倘若還不夠，我會再加倍地賜給你。你為什麼蔑視我的命令，做出我視為可憎的事呢？你藉亞捫人的刀殺了赫人烏利亞，把他的妻子據為己有。因為你藐視我，把赫人烏利亞的妻子據為己有，從今以後，殺戮流血的事必永不離開你的家。』耶和華說，『我要在你家中降下災禍，我要當著你的面把你的妻妾交給你的近臣，他必在光天化日之下與她們行淫。你在暗地裡做這惡事，我要讓這樣的惡事當著以色列人的面在光天化日之下臨到你。』」大衛對拿單說：「我得罪了耶和華。」拿單說：「耶和華已經赦免了你的罪，使你不致死亡。

願主憐憫阿尼色弗一家人，他常常鼓勵我，不以我被囚禁為恥。他在羅馬的時候千方百計尋訪我的下落，直到找著我為止。你很清楚，他從前在以弗所怎樣在各個方面服侍我。願主再來時格外地憐憫他。
