惟任義人擊我、我以為慈、任其責我、如膏膏首、勿容我首卻之、而我仍以祈禱、禦惡人之邪僻兮、

義者責我、我以為仁慈、視若香膏、屢膏余首、無不悅懌、余有所祈、勿為惡者株連兮。

寧受賢人責。苦口是良藥。莫受惡人諛。蜜中含辛螫。任憑彼作惡。吾禱終不輟。

Let a righteous man strike me— that is a kindness; let him rebuke me— that is oil on my head. My head will not refuse it, for my prayer will still be against the deeds of evildoers.

If a godly person hit me, it would be an act of kindness. If they would correct me, it would be like pouring olive oil on my head. I wouldn’t say no to it. I will always pray against the things that sinful people do.

Let a righteous man strike me— it is a kindness; let him rebuke me— it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds.

Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.

爾撲責侮慢者、則愚人知警、勸教明哲者、則愈明於道、

不與人議、所謀必廢、集眾議、事乃成、

先知與王言時、王曰、誰立爾為王之謀士、爾止哉、不然、爾必見撻、先知乃止、既而曰、爾行斯事、不聽我言、我知天主決意欲敗爾、○

暗存愛人之意、不如明責之、原文作明責愈於隱愛友朋痛責、反為忠誠、仇敵接吻、反為詐偽、

惟我語爾、敵爾者愛之、詛爾者祝之、憾爾者善待之、毀謗爾、窘逐爾者、為之祈禱、

藐父訓者愚、守誡言者智、

勿規勸侮慢者、恐彼憾爾、若規勸智慧者、則必愛爾、授道於智人、其智必加、指示義人、其學必進、

凡我所愛者、我必責之懲之、故當奮勉悔改、

在我敵人前、為我備設筵席、以膏沐我首、使我之杯滿溢、

求主施恩於郇邑、建立耶路撒冷之城垣、

是時先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒、謂之曰、爾恃亞蘭王、不恃主爾之天主、故亞蘭軍脫於爾手、古實人、路比人、其軍非大乎、車騎非眾乎、爾恃主、主遂付之於爾手、主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、亞撒因此言、向先見震怒、囚之於獄、當時亞撒亦虐遇民中數人、

凡行善與心正者、求主善待之、

爾中有患病者、則當請教會長老、託主名以膏膏之、為之祈禱、由信祈禱、可救患病者、主必起之、彼素犯之罪、亦蒙赦宥、當彼此認過、互為祈禱、則可得愈、蓋義人切切祈禱、甚為有力、

拿單謂大衛曰、爾即此人、主以色列之天主如是云、我膏爾立為以色列王、救爾脫於掃羅手、我以爾主王之家業、及其婦女賜爾、以以色列及猶大族賜爾治理、如爾猶以為不足、則我又將賜爾較此尤多、何藐視我我原文作主命、行惡於我我原文作主前、藉亞捫人之刀、殺赫人烏利亞而娶其妻為妻、爾既藐視我、娶赫人烏利亞之妻為妻、故刀劍永不離爾家、或作故爾家中恆有刃擊之事主又如是云、我必於爾家、使起一人以禍爾、原文作我必於爾家起禍加諸爾我必聽其白晝之間、白晝之間原文作日前玷爾嬪妃、為爾目睹、爾隱行此事、我將於以色列眾前、顯顯原文作日前以報爾、大衛謂拿單曰、我獲罪於主、拿單曰、主亦赦爾罪、不致死亡、

願主矜恤阿尼色弗之家、蓋彼屢次慰我、不以我之縲絏為恥、彼在羅瑪時、殷勤尋我、至於得見、願主使之在彼日蒙主矜恤、其在以弗所殷勤事我、乃爾所知也、
