蛟龍滄海、冰雹雪霧、遵主命之狂風、

雷霆與白雪。飄風布聖旨。

He sends his command through the earth; swiftly his order reaches its destination.He sends the snow that is white like wool; he spreads the frost that is white like ashes.He throws his hailstones like crumbs. Who can withstand the cold wind he sends?He then orders it all to melt; he breathes on it, and the water flows.

So fire went out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them so that they died before the LORD.

Then the LORD rained down sulfur and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah. It was sent down from the sky by the LORD.

Praise the LORD, you angels of his, you powerful warriors who carry out his decrees and obey his orders!

Then a fire went out from the LORD and devoured the 250 men who offered incense.

From the brightness in front of him came hail and fiery coals.

Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch people with fire.Thus people were scorched by the terrible heat, yet they blasphemed the name of God, who has ruling authority over these plagues, and they would not repent and give him glory.

and the LORD turned a very strong west wind, and it picked up the locusts and blew them into the Red Sea. Not one locust remained in all the territory of Egypt.

And gigantic hailstones, weighing about a hundred pounds each, fell from heaven on people, but they blasphemed God because of the plague of hail, since it was so horrendous.

So Moses extended his staff over the land of Egypt, and then the LORD brought an east wind on the land all that day and all night. The morning came, and the east wind had brought up the locusts!

The sovereign LORD showed me this: I saw the sovereign LORD summoning a shower of fire. It consumed the great deep and devoured the fields.

But the LORD hurled a powerful wind on the sea. Such a violent tempest arose on the sea that the ship threatened to break up!

He gave the order for a windstorm, and it stirred up the waves of the sea.They reached up to the sky, then dropped into the depths. The sailors’ strength left them because the danger was so great.They swayed and staggered like a drunk, and all their skill proved ineffective.They cried out to the LORD in their distress; he delivered them from their troubles.He calmed the storm, and the waves grew silent.

When Moses extended his staff toward the sky, the LORD sent thunder and hail, and fire fell to the earth; so the LORD caused hail to rain down on the land of Egypt.Hail fell and fire mingled with the hail; the hail was so severe that there had not been any like it in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.The hail struck everything in the open fields, both people and animals, throughout all the land of Egypt. The hail struck everything that grows in the field, and it broke all the trees of the field to pieces.

Moses stretched out his hand toward the sea, and the LORD drove the sea apart by a strong east wind all that night, and he made the sea into dry land, and the water was divided.

For the LORD judges all humanity with fire and his sword; the LORD will kill many.

Listen carefully to the thunder of his voice, to the rumbling that proceeds from his mouth.Under the whole heaven he lets it go, even his lightning to the far corners of the earth.After that a voice roars; he thunders with an exalted voice, and he does not hold back his lightning bolts when his voice is heard.God thunders with his voice in marvelous ways; he does great things beyond our understanding.For to the snow he says,‘ Fall to earth,’ and to the torrential rains,‘ Pour down.’

And a great storm developed on the sea so that the waves began to swamp the boat. But he was asleep.So they came and woke him up saying,“ Lord, save us! We are about to die!”But he said to them,“ Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was dead calm.And the men were amazed and said,“ What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”

For here he is! He formed the mountains and created the wind. He reveals his plans to men. He turns the dawn into darkness and marches on the heights of the earth. The LORD, the God who commands armies, is his name!”

Have you entered the storehouse of the snow, or seen the armory of the hail,which I reserve for the time of trouble, for the day of war and battle?In what direction is lightning dispersed, or the east winds scattered over the earth?Who carves out a channel for the heavy rains, and a path for the rumble of thunder,to cause it to rain on an uninhabited land, a desert where there are no human beings,to satisfy a devastated and desolate land, and to cause it to sprout with vegetation?Does the rain have a father, or who has fathered the drops of the dew?From whose womb does the ice emerge, and the frost from the sky, who gives birth to it,when the waters become hard like stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen solid?Can you tie the bands of the Pleiades, or release the cords of Orion?Can you lead out the constellations in their seasons, or guide the Bear with its cubs?Do you know the laws of the heavens, or can you set up their rule over the earth?Can you raise your voice to the clouds so that a flood of water covers you?Can you send out lightning bolts, and they go? Will they say to you,‘ Here we are’?Who has put wisdom in the heart, or has imparted understanding to the mind?Who by wisdom can count the clouds, and who can tip over the water jars of heaven,

As they fled from Israel on the slope leading down from Beth Horon, the LORD threw down on them large hailstones from the sky, all the way to Azekah. They died– in fact, more died from the hailstones than the Israelites killed with the sword.

I will produce portents both in the sky and on the earth– blood, fire, and columns of smoke.
