I cling to you; your right hand upholds me.

His left hand[ is] under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.

Nevertheless I[ am] continually with thee: thou hast holden[ me] by my right hand.

And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

Whom have I in heaven[ but thee]? and[ there is] none upon earth[ that] I desire beside thee.

And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.And he said unto him, What[ is] thy name? And he said, Jacob.And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments[ are] in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of[ his] good pleasure.

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth[ him with] his hand.

And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did[ it] with all his heart, and prospered.

Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul[ thirsteth] after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.Hear me speedily, O LORD: my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.
