The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the Lord has come from Sinai into his sanctuary.

God has come with tens of thousands of his chariots. He has come with thousands and thousands of them. The Lord has come from Mount Sinai. He has entered his holy place.

The chariots of God are twice ten thousand, thousands upon thousands; the Lord is among them; Sinai is now in the sanctuary.

Surrounded by unnumbered thousands of chariots, the Lord came from Mount Sinai into his sanctuary.

He said: The LORD came from Sinai and appeared to them from Seir; he shone on them from Mount Paran and came with ten thousand holy ones, with lightning from his right hand for them.

A river of fire was flowing, coming out from his presence. Thousands upon thousands served him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was convened, and the books were opened.

As they continued walking and talking, a chariot of fire with horses of fire suddenly appeared and separated the two of them. Then Elijah went up into heaven in the whirlwind.

Or do you think that I cannot call on my Father, and he will provide me here and now with more than twelve legions of angels?

When I looked at the living creatures, there was one wheel on the ground beside each of the four-faced creatures.The appearance of the wheels and their craftsmanship was like the gleam of beryl, and all four had the same likeness. Their appearance and craftsmanship was like a wheel within a wheel.When they moved, they went in any of the four directions, without turning as they moved.Their four rims were tall and awe-inspiring, completely covered with eyes.When the living creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them, and when the creatures rose from the earth, the wheels also rose.Wherever the Spirit wanted to go, the creatures went in the direction the Spirit was moving. The wheels rose alongside them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.When the creatures moved, the wheels moved; when the creatures stopped, the wheels stopped; and when the creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose alongside them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.Over the heads of the living creatures the likeness of an expanse was spread out. It gleamed like awe-inspiring crystal,and under the expanse their wings extended one toward another. They each also had two wings covering their bodies.When they moved, I heard the sound of their wings like the roar of a huge torrent, like the voice of the Almighty, and a sound of tumult like the noise of an army. When they stopped, they lowered their wings.A voice came from above the expanse over their heads; when they stopped, they lowered their wings.Something like a throne with the appearance of lapis lazuli was above the expanse over their heads. On the throne, high above, was someone who looked like a human.From what seemed to be his waist up, I saw a gleam like amber, with what looked like fire enclosing it all around. From what seemed to be his waist down, I also saw what looked like fire. There was a brilliant light all around him.The appearance of the brilliant light all around was like that of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day. This was the appearance of the likeness of the LORD’s glory. When I saw it, I fell facedown and heard a voice speaking.

He rode on a cherub and flew, soaring on the wings of the wind.

“ Do not come closer,” he said.“ Remove the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.”

Are you angry at the rivers, LORD? Is your wrath against the rivers? Or is your fury against the sea when you ride on your horses, your victorious chariot?

Even the priests who come near the LORD must consecrate themselves, or the LORD will break out in anger against them.”Moses responded to the LORD,“ The people cannot come up Mount Sinai, since you warned us: Put a boundary around the mountain and consecrate it.”

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and also of the living creatures and of the elders. Their number was countless thousands, plus thousands of thousands.

Elisha said,“ Don’t be afraid, for those who are with us outnumber those who are with them.”Then Elisha prayed,“ LORD, please open his eyes and let him see.” So the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he saw that the mountain was covered with horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

The number of mounted troops was two hundred million; I heard their number.
