那位对我说话的天使，拿着一根金芦苇的量尺，要测量那城，就是她的城门和城墙。

你们也就像活石，被建造成一座属灵的殿宇，进入圣洁的祭司体系，好藉着耶稣基督献上蒙神悦纳的属灵祭物，

并且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶稣自己为房角石。在基督耶稣里，全部建筑互相连接，渐渐成为在主里的圣殿；在他里面，你们也一同被建造，藉着圣灵成为神居住的地方。

我要以公正为准绳，以公义为铅垂线；冰雹要扫灭谎言的避难所，众水要冲没你们的藏身处。

你们难道不知道自己就是神的圣所，而且神的灵住在你们里面吗？如果有人毁坏神的圣所，神就要毁坏这个人，因为神的圣所是圣洁的，这圣所就是你们。

神的圣所与偶像有什么相同呢？要知道，我们是永生神的圣所，正如神所说：“我将要在他们中间居住，在他们中间往来；我将要做他们的神，他们将要做我的子民。”

但你们属于蒙拣选的族类、君王的祭司体系、圣洁的国度，是属神的子民；为要使你们宣扬曾召唤你们的那一位的美德——他召唤你们出黑暗，入他奇妙的光明。

至于我，除了我们主耶稣基督的十字架以外，我绝不以别的夸耀。因这十字架，对我来说，世界已经被钉十字架了；对世界来说，我也已经被钉十字架了。因为受割礼或不受割礼，都算不了什么；重要的是成为新造的人。凡是照着这原则行走的人，愿平安和怜悯临到他们，也临到神的以色列民！

接着，我看见另一位强有力的天使从天上降下来，披着云彩；又有一道彩虹在他头上。他的脸像太阳，脚像火柱，手里拿着一个打开的小书卷。他右脚踩在海上，左脚踩在地上，大声呼喊，好像狮子吼叫。他一呼喊，那七个雷就发出自己的声音。当那七个雷发出了自己的声音，我正要写下来，却听见有声音从天上传来，说：“你要封住七个雷所说的话，不可写下来。”接着，我所看见的那位站在海上和地上的天使，向天举起他的右手，
