Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

因为你说‘我是富有的；我发了财，什么都不缺’，却不知道你是可悲的、可怜的、贫穷的、瞎眼的、赤身的。

因為你說『我是富有的；我發了財，什麼都不缺』，卻不知道你是可悲的、可憐的、貧窮的、瞎眼的、赤身的。

蓋爾云、我富矣、已獲富有而無所需矣、不知爾乃困苦、堪悲、貧乏、瞽目、裸體、

爾自稱富有、無所匱缺、不知爾實困苦貧乏、瞽目裸身、

爾自言我富厚有財、無所匱缺、不知爾實可憫、困苦、貧乏、瞽目、裸身、

爾自謂富有、綽有餘裕、而無所欠缺；殊不知爾實為百無聊賴、貧窮不堪、盲而裸者。

You say,‘ I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.

You say,“ I am rich. I’ve become wealthy and don’t need anything.” But you don’t realize how pitiful and miserable you have become. You are poor, blind and naked.

For you say, I am rich, I have prospered, and I need nothing, not realizing that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind, and naked.

You say,‘ I am rich. I have everything I want. I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked.

For you say,‘ I’m rich; I have become wealthy and need nothing,’ and you don’t realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked.

Because you say,“ I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have no need of anything,” and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked,

Because you say,‘ I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’— and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—

Because thou sayest, I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art the wretched one and miserable and poor and blind and naked:

Because you say,‘ I’m rich; I have become wealthy and need nothing,’ and you don’t know that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked,

Because you say,“ I am rich and have acquired great wealth, and need nothing,” but do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked,

Because you say,‘ I am rich, and have gotten riches, and have need of nothing;’ and don’t know that you are the wretched one, miserable, poor, blind, and naked;

But when Jesus heard[ that], he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

There is that maketh himself rich, yet[ hath] nothing:[ there is] that maketh himself poor, yet[ hath] great riches.

O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance:[ in] all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that[ were] sin.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think[ of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty,( but thou art rich) and[ I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but[ are] the synagogue of Satan.

And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they[ were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

Lest[ when] thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt[ therein];And[ when] thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

And[ some] of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Blessed[ are] the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men[ are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed[ is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed[ be] the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not.

But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Lest I be full, and deny[ thee], and say, Who[ is] the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God[ in vain].

Who[ is] blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger[ that] I sent? who[ is] blind as[ he that is] perfect, and blind as the LORD’S servant?

Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.We[ are] fools for Christ’s sake, but ye[ are] wise in Christ; we[ are] weak, but ye[ are] strong; ye[ are] honourable, but we[ are] despised.

O generation, see ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee?

Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God,And knowest[ his] will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law;And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness,An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God?

And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I[ was] naked; and I hid myself.And he said, Who told thee that thou[ wast] naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
