Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal. In the center, around the throne, were four living creatures, and they were covered with eyes, in front and in back.

隨後，我看見在寶座和四個活物當中，在長老們當中，站著一隻羔羊，好像是被殺過的。羔羊有七隻角和七隻眼，那七隻眼就是神的七個靈，是奉差派往全地去的。

二十四位長老和四個活物就俯伏敬拜那坐在寶座上的神，說：「阿們！哈利路亞！」

他們在寶座前，並四個活物和長老們面前唱歌，像是新歌，這首歌除了從地上被贖回來的那十四萬四千人以外，沒有人能學會。

那四個活物，各個都有六個翅膀，遍體內外都布滿了眼睛。他們日夜不停地說：「聖哉！聖哉！聖哉！主、神、全能者，昔在、今在、將要來臨的那一位！」每當四個活物把榮耀、尊貴和感謝歸給坐在寶座上、活到永永遠遠的那一位時，

四個活物就說：「阿們！」長老們也都俯伏敬拜。我又觀看，羔羊打開七個封印中第一個封印的時候，我就聽見四個活物中的一個，用像雷鳴一樣的聲音說：「來！」

所有的天使都站在寶座、長老們和四個活物的周圍；他們在寶座前，把臉伏在地上，敬拜神，

接著，天使給我看一條生命水的河，明亮如水晶，從神和羔羊的寶座流出來，

這城有神的榮耀，她的光輝彷彿極貴重的寶石，如同碧玉，清澈如水晶。

因為在寶座中的羔羊將牧養他們，領他們到生命水的泉源；神要從他們的眼中抹去一切淚水。」

四個活物中有一個把七個金碗交給了那七位天使，碗裡盛滿了活到永永遠遠之神的憤怒。

十二個城門是十二顆珍珠；每一個門各自是由一顆珍珠造成的。城裡的大街是純金的，好像透明的玻璃。

她的城牆是用碧玉建造的；城是純金的，彷彿純淨的玻璃。
