The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

The fourth angel blew his trumpet. Then a third of the sun was struck. A third of the moon was struck. A third of the stars were struck. So a third of each of them turned dark. Then a third of the day had no light. The same thing happened to a third of the night.

天上的眾星羣宿都不發光；日頭一出就變黑暗；月亮也不放光。

日頭要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血，這都在耶和華大而可畏的日子未到以前。

牠們一來，地震天動，日月昏暗，星宿無光。

第一位天使吹號，就有雹子與火攙着血丟在地上；地的三分之一和樹的三分之一被燒了，一切的青草也被燒了。第二位天使吹號，就有彷彿火燒着的大山扔在海中；海的三分之一變成血，海中的活物死了三分之一，船隻也壞了三分之一。第三位天使吹號，就有燒着的大星，好像火把從天上落下來，落在江河的三分之一和眾水的泉源上。（這星名叫「茵蔯」。）眾水的三分之一變為茵蔯，因水變苦，就死了許多人。第四位天使吹號，日頭的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星辰的三分之一都被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一黑暗了，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。

日月昏暗，星宿無光。

耶和華說：這全地的人，三分之二必剪除而死，三分之一仍必存留。我要使這三分之一經火，熬煉他們，如熬煉銀子；試煉他們，如試煉金子。他們必求告我的名，我必應允他們。我要說：這是我的子民。他們也要說：耶和華是我們的神。

耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗；這黑暗似乎摸得着。」摩西向天伸杖，埃及遍地就烏黑了三天。三天之久，人不能相見，誰也不敢起來離開本處；惟有以色列人家中都有亮光。法老就召摩西來，說：「你們去事奉耶和華；只是你們的羊羣牛羣要留下；你們的婦人孩子可以和你們同去。」摩西說：「你總要把祭物和燔祭牲交給我們，使我們可以祭祀耶和華－我們的神。我們的牲畜也要帶去，連一蹄也不留下；因為我們要從其中取出來，事奉耶和華－我們的神。我們未到那裏，還不知道用甚麼事奉耶和華。」但耶和華使法老的心剛硬，不肯容他們去。法老對摩西說：「你離開我去吧，你要小心，不要再見我的面！因為你見我面的那日你就必死！」摩西說：「你說得好！我必不再見你的面了。」

揭開第六印的時候，我又看見地大震動，日頭變黑像毛布，滿月變紅像血，

這不法的人來，是照撒但的運動，行各樣的異能、神蹟，和一切虛假的奇事，並且在那沉淪的人身上行各樣出於不義的詭詐；因他們不領受愛真理的心，使他們得救。故此，神就給他們一個生發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，使一切不信真理、倒喜愛不義的人都被定罪。

那四個使者就被釋放；他們原是預備好了，到某年某月某日某時，要殺人的三分之一。

「那些日子的災難一過去，日頭就變黑了，月亮也不放光，眾星要從天上墜落，天勢都要震動。

從午正到申初，遍地都黑暗了。

「日、月、星辰要顯出異兆，地上的邦國也有困苦；因海中波浪的響聲，就慌慌不定。

那時約有午正，遍地都黑暗了，直到申初，日頭變黑了；殿裏的幔子從當中裂為兩半。

「在那些日子，那災難以後，日頭要變黑了，月亮也不放光，

牠的尾巴拖拉着天上星辰的三分之一，摔在地上。龍就站在那將要生產的婦人面前，等她生產之後，要吞吃她的孩子。

從午正到申初，遍地都黑暗了。

口中所出來的火與煙並硫磺，這三樣災殺了人的三分之一。

那時，月亮要蒙羞，日頭要慚愧；因為萬軍之耶和華必在錫安山，在耶路撒冷作王；在敬畏他的長老面前，必有榮耀。

日頭要變為黑暗，月亮要變為血；這都在主大而明顯的日子未到以前。

第四位天使把碗倒在日頭上，叫日頭能用火烤人。人被大熱所烤，就褻瀆那有權掌管這些災的神之名，並不悔改將榮耀歸給神。

先知說：我觀看地，不料，地是空虛混沌；我觀看天，天也無光。

我將你撲滅的時候，要把天遮蔽，使眾星昏暗，以密雲遮掩太陽，月亮也不放光。我必使天上的亮光都在你以上變為昏暗，使你的地上黑暗。這是主耶和華說的。

主耶和華說：到那日，我必使日頭在午間落下，使地在白晝黑暗。

此等不信之人被這世界的神弄瞎了心眼，不叫基督榮耀福音的光照着他們。基督本是神的像。
