For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

With your heart you believe and are made right with God. With your mouth you say what you believe. And so you are saved.

This was so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.

Watch out, brothers and sisters, so that there won’t be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.
