以利年邁、聞其子如何待以色列人、又聞其與會幕前侍立侍立或作從事之婦女同寢、

乃鑄銅海、其形惟圓、高五尺、徑十尺、圍三十尺、海邊之下、四周鑄野瓜、每尺十瓜、環繞海、共有二行、鑄海時即鑄於其上、海置於十二銅牛之上、其牛三向北、三向西、三向南、三向東、而海置於其上、牛後內向、海厚一掌、邊如杯邊、式如百合花、可容二千罷特、約一萬二千斗

凡聽我、日待於我門、侍於我門柱之側者、斯人便為有福、

時彼得坐於外院、有一婢就之曰、爾亦素偕迦利利人耶穌者、

及誠信之證者、自死中首先復活者、為天下萬王之元首者耶穌基督、得恩寵平康、

俱為世俗世俗原文作肉體之儀文、與飲食及諸盥濯之規例、皆設立至振興之時乃止者也、

爾以銅作洗濯之盤、盤座亦以銅作之、以盤置於會幕與祭臺間、以水盛其中、亞倫及其諸子、當於盤洗手濯足、或入會幕、或近祭臺奉事、於主獻火焚祭時、皆當以水洗濯、免於死亡、當洗手濯足、免於死亡、亞倫及其歷代子孫、當守此為永例、○

小子乎、勿為人所惑、行義者即為義、如主之為義然、
