耶穌回答說：『難道你們沒有誦讀過，創造主從起初造人，是有男有女的；

但從創造之初，「上帝造人是有男有女的」；

以下是亞當的後代的記錄。當上帝創造人的日子，他是按着自己的樣式造他的：上帝創造他們，有男有女。當他們被創造的日子，上帝賜福與他們，給他們起名叫「人」。

因為我們乃是他所造之物，是在基督耶穌裏被創造，為行善事、就是上帝早已豫備好了、使我們行於其中的。

而穿上新人，那依上帝之聖質形像而被創造的新人，創造於真實中之正義和虔聖的。

我稱謝你，因為你可畏懼而奇妙；你所作的很奇妙。你深深認識我。

一個還剩有靈性的人是不會這樣行的。那一個是誰？就是一個尋求屬神之種的啊。故此要謹守你們的靈性，不可對你幼年所娶的妻不忠實。

永恆主上帝說：『那人獨居不好；我要為他造個幫助者做他的配偶。』

男人既是上帝的像和榮耀，他就不該蒙着頭；女人呢、只是反射男人的榮耀，所以該蒙着頭。（因為不是男人由女人而出，乃是女人由男人而出；並且不是男人為着女人而被創造，乃是女人為着男人而被創造。）

就是一切以我名為稱呼的人，我為自己之榮耀所創造、所形成、所製作的。』

他是人不能見的上帝之像，是首生者超越一切被創造者；
