勿髠髮、勿薙鬚之四周、勿割肉。

萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華、以摩押之事告眾、曰、尼破已遭糜爛、基烈亭已破、米士夾人畏葸抱愧、豈不哀哉。

居底本之女、自榮位而下、坐於無水之地、蓋殘害、摩押者、毀爾城垣。

摩西離摩押平原、耶利哥相向之所、陟尼破山、比士迦岡、耶和華以基列地、至於但境、使摩西目睹。

除其馨香、蒙以不潔、去其彩紳、繫以縲絏、髠其卷髮、代以童首、褫其繡衣、束以麻布、毀其姿容、加以烙印。

我已射之、希實本危亡、爰及底本、我已滅之、至於挪法、近米底巴。○

彼鬚髮盡薙、指掌毀傷、腰束麻帶。耶和華曰、凡摩押樓巔衢側、必有哀哭之聲、蓋予摧折摩押、棄若敝物。人將哭云、摩押已毀、敗北而抱愧、四周之人、譏笑而恐懼。

故耶和華怒斯民、棄之如遺、民憂患斷髮務盡、哭於童山。

故摩押四境、必相號泣、吉哈喇泄之基、必遭傾圮、居民哀慘。

今萬有之主耶和華、頒厥詔命、使爾號哭、薙髮衣麻、

尼破、巴力免、悉馬、有易其名者、有仍其舊者。

其界自亞嫩河濱之亞囉耳、及洲中之邑、與米底巴平原、希實本及平原之邑、底本、巴末巴力、伯巴力免、

約百遂起、裂衣薙首、伏地拜曰、

亞大錄、底本、牙設、寧喇、希實本、以利亞利、示班、尼破、庇穩、

首之四周勿薙、鬚之四周勿損、勿為死者割肉、勿黥爾身、為我耶和華所禁。

爾非利士民、已喪厥膽、大聲號哭、蓋敵自北方、叢集而至、若烟燄四塞、皆爭先恐後、

摩押人屢陟崇坵、不勝困憊、詣殿禱告、不蒙眷祐。

以麻束腰、盡薙首髮、蒙羞抱愧、戰慄之至。

故我必為摩押邑號呼哭泣、為吉哈喇泄人哀聲甚慘。

市廛之民衣麻、屋頂之人號泣、澘焉出涕、

爾皆係爾上帝耶和華之子、毋為死者薙髮割肉、

迦薩人已薙厥髮、亞實基倫已絶、谷之遺民自毀其身、伊於胡底。
