主曾言、凡民不願服事巴比倫王、必亡於鋒刃、饑饉、疫癘、今爾與爾民、何為自取死亡、

彼雖禁食、我不聽其呼籲、彼獻火焚祭與禮物、禮物或作他祭我不悅納、必以鋒刃饑饉疫癘、滅之淨盡、

主曰、斯後我必以猶大王西底家、與其諸臣眾軍、及在斯邑中、遭瘟疫鋒刃饑饉、所遺之人、悉付於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、其敵之手、索其命者之手、巴比倫王必擊之以刃、不惜之、不憐憫、不矜恤、
