厥後、耶穌渡加利利海、亦名諦比略湖。

行經加利利河濱、見兄弟二人、一為西門即伯鐸祿、一為其弟安德烈、正投網海中；漁夫也。

耶穌見人麕集、遂登山而坐、諸徒就焉。

行經加利利海濱、見西門暨弟安德烈布網於海；漁夫也。

厥後、耶穌於諦比略海濱、復見於諸徒、其事如次：

維時、耶穌立於日內色湖濱、眾爭欲聆天主道、不勝擁擠、

耶穌出至加利利海濱、登山坐、即之者甚眾、紛攜瘖盲跛廢等人、置耶穌足前、悉為治之。眾見瘖者言、殘者全、跛者行、瞽者明、乃翕然嘆服、而歸榮於義塞之天主。

耶穌出諦羅境、過西同、經低加波利、而抵加利利海濱。有攜一聾瘖者至、求耶穌撫之。耶穌引之出人叢、至僻處、以指探其耳、唾而按其舌、仰天嘆曰：『伊咈大、』譯言、『啟。』耳應聲而啟、舌結亦解、發音清晰。耶穌戒勿告人、詎愈戒而愈揚。眾皆不勝嘆異曰、『是其所為、靡有不善；直使聾者聰、而瘖者言矣。』

以民眾蝟集、遂登舟而坐、眾鵠立岸上。

同時有數艇來自諦比略、泊近耶穌所嘗祝謝而以餅食眾之處。
